Spiritual Structure at Humboldt Alliance Church

Spiritual Growth

"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." — Ephesians 5:1-2

Humboldt Alliance Church strives to be a Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, Mission-Focused hub of ministry raising up and sending out an Army of Disciple-Makers. To fulfill this mission we seek to actively engage our congregation and the entire community in meaningful fellowship and opportunities to grow spiritually.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness…” —2 Timothy 3:16

Our weekday men’s and women’s bible studies provide the opportunity to dive deeper into God’s Word, while building strong relationships through fellowship with other believers.

“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” —1 Timothy 4:12

Ministering to the local youth in our community is a top priority of the Humboldt Alliance Church. In partnership with the Humboldt Bible Church, the Humboldt Youth Group supports weekly bible studies and youth activities. The Jr. Youth Group is open to grades 7-8 and Sr. Youth Group is for grades 9-12, with a discipleship program aimed at those in Grades 10-12.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” – Proverbs 22:6

Spiritual growth begins in childhood and the Humboldt Alliance Church has a strong children’s ministry within the community. Through our Children’s Sunday School, Fresh Air Playgroup and summer VBS program, we are actively engaging with our children from an early age to display the love of Jesus and introduce to the Word of God.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” —Matthew 18:20

The Humboldt Alliance Church encourages ongoing fellowship with other believers and creating opportunities for outreach within our community. One way we do this is through monthly family activity nights that are open to the entire community.

“Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.” — Psalms 25:4

The Humboldt Alliance Church believes strongly in helping people at all stages of their spiritual journey grow in their faith. Some of the classes that are offered regularly include Alpha and Love and Respect.
