How Can I Give

Opportunity

Serving

The Humboldt Alliance Church provides a wide range of opportunities to serve within our church and within our community. Regardless of what gifts and abilities you have or what interests you, we can connect you with an opportunity for you to worship God through your service.

Opportunity

Tithing

Part of a strong faith life is an intentional and consistent practice of giving. A tithe is a regular gift to the church as an offering of thanksgiving to God for the gift of life and resources, typically a percentage of income.  We also give above and beyond as God leads.

There are different ways to make donations (tithes and offerings) to the Humboldt Alliance Church,  this page provides you with all the information you will need to make a decision on what best suits your needs when donating.

Our Designated Funds

We have several opportunities to give to different “Funds”. Some of these are designated to specific projects and others are for more general use for the church. Here are our Designated Funds to which you can direct your donations:

General Fund

This fund takes care of the day-to-day function of our church such as utilities, salaries, office supplies, janitorial needs, ministry expenses etc. Undesignated and loose cash donations are assigned to the General Fund.

Global Advance Fund

The GAF is a pooled fund that equips and sustains our workers, ministries, and all our collective efforts to share the Gospel and to multiply disciples everywhere, especially with people who haven't heard the name of Jesus.

Venture Fund

Previous known as the Canadian Ministries Fund this fund supports the work of our Midwest District in church development.

Benevolent Fund

All monies marked for this fund are used by Humboldt Alliance Church to help both our Church Family Members and those in the community at large, who find themselves in need of assistance.

Other Designated Offerings

The Humboldt Alliance Church is frequently involved in various ministry projects within our community and abroad. These projects are communicated to the congregation through our various channels. All monies marked for one of the designated projects must include the name of the project on the donor envelope. Once a funding goal has been met any monies given over that amount will be assigned to the general fund.

Global Emergency Response

This is our Alliance Canada Relief Fund. The money donated is used to support relief efforts on the ground, typically through local Alliance workers and churches.
